Upon arrival, each group will receive a colorful, detailed map of the Refuge grounds. Wander at your own pace along several paths, meeting rescued goats, sheep, ducks, geese, chickens, turkeys, and cows! Our knowledgeable Tour Guideswill be stationed throughout the Refuge to tell enchanting stories of animal rescues, introducing you to each animal by name. Don’t miss our serene curved brick animal memorial, unique architectural designs, and our beautiful Pavilion where you can find Refuge merchandise for purchase and learn more about our mission.

2025’s Artist-in-Residence, Sarah-Lyona Perry, will be present with a collaborative art project that you can add to! It will be done in honor of our future pig residents that we will welcome once we’ve completed our Pig Habitat.

You’ll also have the unique chance to tour our Aviary and our new Disabled Duck House!

In addition to meeting our 100+ farm animal residents and learning their rescue stories, you can enjoy delicious vegan eats from two local vendors: EBN’s Vegan CuisineandDee’s Kitchen.

Arrive any time after 11 a.m. and tour at your own pace, but please note that the Refuge will close to visitors promptly at 2 p.m. The Refuge is equipped with several disability accommodations, including an ADA-compliant porta potty in the parking lot, as well as a golf cart and driver that can drive up to 3 guests to all of the areas of interest during tours.

In an effort to make our events more accessible, we are offering sliding-scale tickets that range from $5 to $40 per person. All tour proceeds help the Refuge provide lifelong care to rescued farm animals.
