We’ll have all the smoky, sweet, and savory tastes of the season at our Summer Potluck! 

Our Refuge potlucks are always a party–come for the vegan BBQ and refreshing, herbaceous noodle salads, stay for the fun conversations, yard games, animal portraiture table, and live music by our amazing 2025 Artist in Residence, Sarah-Lyona! 

The Summer potluck also includes a guided meet-and-greet with our sweet cow residents. 

Schedule:

5:30 PM - 7:00 PM: Vegan Potluck 

• Bring a vegan dish to share.

• Bring utensils and your own plate so we can be eco-friendly! Many people just bring a reusable food container since it’s convenient to travel with.

• Arrive and enjoy! 

7:00 PM - 7:30 PM: Cow Meet and Greet 

• Two experienced Tour Guides will introduce you to the Refuge herd of eight curious, social cows, including a three-generational family! 

7:30 PM - 9:00 PM: 

• Sit back and enjoy the sunset as Sarah-Lyona’s music touches your heart with sweet sounds and intimate, loving lyrics. Some of the songs in her set have been inspired by her residency at the Refuge.  We are so happy to be able to reschedule this concert, which was originally planned for Spring!
