With no safe housing or food, she was at risk from predators, cold weather, and starvation. Little Scout was even using the apartment building stairs as a makeshift "roost" to sleep on at night. Luckily, a kind woman who lived there recognized that Scout needed help, contacted our sanctuary, and drove her all the way to us.
